Kenya Harlequins have announced a new community partnership with five Nairobi-based secondary schools to develop rugby talent at the grassroots level. The partnership will see Harlequins coaches deliver weekly training sessions at each school, with the most promising players invited to trial for the club's junior academy.
The schools involved include St. Mary's School, Strathmore School, Lenana School, Nairobi School, and Upper Hill School. The programme also includes coaching clinics for physical education teachers and joint fixtures between the schools.
This initiative is part of Harlequins' broader commitment to growing rugby in Kenya, with a focus on identifying and nurturing talent from an early age.
